Now this is a real diner! Great interior, friendly, if overworked staff, cool t-shirts and some of the best diner fare I have had in a long time. Try the corned beef omelette. Made with real corned beef, real potatoes and cooked by a real person. No canned stuff allowed! The biscuits and gravy were heavenly, with light, fluffy biscuits and hearty, but not too salty gravy. And decent coffee for less than a buck. Worth the drive from the expressway. Pass up the chain places for real food.

Not the greatest experience. The waitress was good but the food left something to be desired. My husband had banana cream pie and it was awful.

I stopped in Coldwater for business but had some time to kill. Finding a good breakfast at small diners is a passion. I searched Google and found Jeannie’s. The service was prompt and the food was out fast. I received regular coffee refills. I ordered a bit too much food, honestly- but I did it in the name of the review. I got two eggs, sourdough toast, bacon, and American potatoes. Everything was perfect. I also did a half order of the biscuits and gravy...also perfect. The only caveat is that the bathroom is TINY. Useable, but tiny. There’s enough space for one person - if you need to change a diaper, it would be impossible. If you’re in Coldwater and looking for an amazing breakfast, go to Jeannie’s. You won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I love it here. Sometimes it does take a little longer to get food, but you know what? Quit your complaining and enjoy the people you're with for a few minutes longer. Next thing you know, you have delicious diner food sitting right in front of you. I recommend the mozzarella sticks. Way better than others you'll find anywhere else! 👌👍

A classic dinner atmosphere with decent to good food. Better than the Goodie Shop by far.

We went here for breakfast and it did not disappoint. They waitress let us know that since they were busy the food would take a little bit but we did not mind as we were having a good time chatting and the food was worth the wait. Omelettes and biscuits with gravy were both great. Cool diner feel with a train going around near the ceiling that my son enjoyed.

Despite being busy, we got our food pretty quick. Loved the meals we ate. Definitely coming back there for breakfast.

Excellent breakfast. I frequently complain about these new restaurants that don’t butter the toast or make you do it with a frozen slab. These folks slathered it with butter. The owner works the dining room along with his daughter being a waitress. Small town diner. We will come back.

Wow, what a super nice staff, amazing menu, and affordable prices. I had the BBQ chicken flat bread special, and the strawberry shortcake. Get both they are amazing! Love this place great breakfast menu all day, too.

Terrific experiences for our family. Our daughters enjoy going with a Papa to eat and see the toy train running on its tracks above - breakfast meals and grilled cheese are superb. Staff are quality and work hard to keep you from having to wait as it is popular for “regulars” and is a go to dining experience for many families - thank you Jeanie’s.

Waited over an hour for our food it was very load although the waitresses were very nice we will not be going back again

The guy on the grill is awesome, never misses a beat, I don't know how he makes so much food for everybody on such a small grill. He definitely keeps the place running.

Jeannie's is a great place to eat and bring your family. The store looks great, the food is always good and my little girl loves seeing the train going around!!

Pretty good. Ordered a double cheeseburger, it tasted fresh, however they could use bigger buns they are kind of small and it was kind of awkward to eat, but it was delicious and the fries were good. Would recommend to anyone visiting Coldwater.

It's an old fashion diner feel that's serves great breakfast and lunch. I got the blueberry pancakes with hash browns and bacon, the blueberries are fresh and whole, batter was flavorful, and the bacon/potatoes remind me of those old truck stops that serve amazing breakfast all day long. The staff is friendly and actively check on tables, in this setting feel free to ask them for anything you need cause the kitchen is set up right at the counter so you can see everything going on.

Poor service/staff. Small space. Tons of wait staff. Waited inside door. None of them acknowledged us. We had 5 people. Tables up front accommodated 5. Yet those tables were in use by a single guests that should have sat at the counter. Wont be back.

Good food and great service, one of our favorite local spots. Never disappointing. You will be treated like family and never leave hungry. Great coffee and your mug is always full!
